Kelson Facades was appointed by Russell Cawberry to deliver the full throughwall façade package for a new extension at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton — one of the world's leading cancer research and treatment centres.
The extension was designed by Ansell & Bailey to house a new plant room serving the hospital's aseptic suite, supporting critical cancer research and development. Kelson Facades was responsible for the complete design, supply and installation of a fully built-up Rockpanel rainscreen cladding system.
The scope included sheathing board, Tyvek membrane, vertical helping hand and rail system, Rockwool insulation, Rockpanel panels and all aluminium rainwater goods and flashings — delivering a technically precise and weather-tight façade to a demanding healthcare brief.
